C-06 Classics Skyfire / Jetfire is one of the larger and more imposing Autobots in the Classics line; presumably the C-06 Classics Skyfire would feature chrome sections just as the majority of the Japanese Henkei figures, and somewhat modified paint applications.
Originally shown in the classic episode "Fire in the Sky", "Skyfire" was shown as an Autobot scientist who was friends with Starscream before the war. Skyfire never had a toy, presumably because his name was supposed to be Jetfire. Jetfire was originally a Macross Valkyrie / Robotech Veritech VF-1. This probably caused a lot of legal issues when making the original cartoon (and probably when making this toy too), but somehow they managed to keep it pretty close to what the original toy looked like.

His original toy was among the best of the original Transformers, and this is a worthy upgrade. A removable with a helmet, a backpack and twin missile launchers, he is awesome to just toy around with (no pun intended). I have no complaints.
